Gratitude
This past weekend in both services, Lane challenged us to demonstrate our unity by raising our hands while Aaron played a song titled “Gratitude” by Brandon Lake. It was awesome to see a church unified in worship. Hands raised as lungs belted the lyrics to a song.
Psalms 136:1 says, “Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good.His love endures forever.”
Psalms 118:24 says, “This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.”
As it is stated in Psalm 118 and 136, we have much for which we should be grateful. God’s love is never ending. God is the creator of the day and He invites us to be His light in this world.
The writer of the song, Gratitude, said that everything he has to offer falls short. Nothing can show his gratitude except his worship. We are unified in the nothingness we can provide to God. All we can do is worship Him with our thoughts and actions.
