Helping Hands is an outreach ministry of Westside Christian Church. We meet each Tuesday morning to sew and work on miscellaneous projects. This started out with just the church ladies, but have added 5 neighborhood women this year. We are open for anyone who wants to help us, just come at 9:00 AM.
Last year we made 900 lap 
robes which we gave to the VA Hospital, Hospice, Meals on Wheels and missions. We also made 50 small girls dresses that were shipped to Haiti, 100 school bags which were divided between Good Samaritan Mission in Wimauma and another school and the church filled them with school supplies. We crocheted hats, booties, and blankets for preemie babies; made urinal bags and bibs for area Nursing Homes. We help with almost any projects which we hear about and have lots of good fellowship too.
